Trip to India

I went to India for a week from 12th to the 19th of February. It was a sudden unexpected tour and the main theme of the tour was nothing but SHOPPING!! Usually all women would love to go for shopping and what more would they enjoy had it been a tour meant for nothing but shopping. But I on the other hand don’t have any interest for the so called shopping I might sound weird for you as it’s very easy to find a shopaholic women and not the other way about.

You might wonder then why the hell did I go on that tour? LOL the reason might sound even sheepish I went solely to accompany my mother. I went to India with my mom and my aunt who were the usual women with the common desire for shopping.

If you were a person who had been to India and especially to Tamil Nadu there to make things worse Chennai you would know how hectic shopping could be. One would easily go mad not coz there isn’t much selection but just because there is too much of articles and one is confused on what to buy and what to leave. And to make things even worse the population in Chennai is so much that one had to face the difficulty in travelling by vehicles and also by foot. So you could simply imagine what hard time I would have faced as a person not interested in the theme of the tour and also who doesn’t like messy and overly crowded places. Adding onto this was the weather of Chennai it was too warm and intolerable but thanks to my mom and aunt who didn’t leave the shopping mall once entered until they had spent merely half the day in the same shop, this helped us from travelling in the hot sun.

Everything was fine except for the fact that I was bored and pissed off from the very first day. I was counting my day back home from the very first day I stepped into India :D . To make things even worse I got messed up with the food and was sick for few days. It neither helped me coz I was stuck in the hotel alone as my mom had to finish shopping so she had no choice other than leaving me stuck with the TV. So honestly in my point of view the whole tour was a big mess :D but I’m very happy that I came back home in not more than a week and it was so coz we had to go to another embassy. Had it not been for that I would have had to stay there in India for another couple of days which would have driven me crazy.

I was really very happy to come back home. I missed my family a lot :( . And also many more :( .

And an advice for those who going to India please make sure you eat at a restaurant known to you and never dare trying a new place if u are planning to stay only for a short period of time.

A day out with a friend

First Friday of this month I met a friend of mine at a public place. It was nice meeting my pal, so we had a drink at the cafeteria. Everything was nice and pleasant except for the fact that my pal was quite annoyed by the surrounding commotion. To my surprise the surrounding commotion didn’t have any impact on me. Simply coz the surrounding doesn’t gather much of my notice. But on the other hand my pal who was very observant couldn’t tolerate the noisy busy people around us.

From this event I simply gathered that we get stimulated only when we are aware of the stimulus and give our attention towards it. Had we not given our attention we wouldn’t be affected by the events taking place around us.

In a way being observant about our surrounding has its own cons and pros. Pros are that we understand the environment better and we act according to it and can adapt to fit into it. Cons are one gets easily annoyed and pissed off with the undesirable changes and events taking place around us.

I wanted to blog regarding this topic ever since I noticed the way we react to our surrounding but factors such as time and perfect mood didn’t match together to blog about it. It’s been a month ever since I started to write this blog and I only now found the desired requirement meeting together. But still the blog isn’t a very satisfactory one I’m afraid. But with regard to certain other facts I am not elaborating on this particular topic.

Anyway the topic doesn’t suit the subject coz I can’t call it a day out maybe a drink out with my pal. But chose this topic coz it sounds friendlier than a drink out which sounds more formal.
